My name is Zack Hample, and I've snagged more than 12,000 baseballs in the stands at MLB stadiums. I don't blog anymore, but there are hundreds of *amazing* entries here in the archives, so comb through those and make sure to find me on YouTube. That's where the action is now.
@Paul: The first A’s-Mariners game starts at 3am Pacific time and the 2nd game starts at 2am pacific time
Mark McConville
That should be sick, hopefully the streak will stay intact and you will have an easy time snagging. BTW when are you going to Miami? cause ill be down there April 13th vs. the astros or April 27th vs. the D-backs, not sure which one yet
That should be a fun, but very expensive trip. It will be nothing to a man of your extensive means of course :) Try to answer an age old question for me while you are over there if you get the chance. I have always heard that the chicks in Nagasaki like Bukkake.

Awesome trip you have planned there Zack! can’t wait to see the blog. At Nick Badders, Skoal is bad for you. Gives you mouth cancer ;) Big Glove Bob, so not pc.
PHILADELPHIA45-
I think everyone wishes they were going, and believe me, I feel *very* lucky to be making the trip.
MATTHEW HIETT-
Yes indeed. Can’t wait to hit that milestone.
NICK BADDERS-
I think that the seats are behind the 1st base dugout, but maybe 20-ish rows back? I’m not sure. I’m also hoping to pick up a couple of seats in left field, so I have no idea where I’ll end up.
PAUL ELLIS-
Ha, yeah, everything is kind of hard to understand.
MARK MCCONVILLE-
I probably won’t make it to Miami until May. Still haven’t picked the dates yet.
BIG GLOVE BOB-
Shame on you.
KSLO69-
I hope to blog every day of the trip, but I might not have time. If nothing else, I’ll at least blog about the games. As for your Scrabble question, I never thought of it before, but at first glance, the longest word I see is POUTIER. That’s only seven letters. Hmm, what about OUTWRITE? Is that in the book? Still thinking . . . REQUIRER? One that requires? REWRITER? One that rewrites?
JOEYORR4-
A wall of hats . . . I love it!
DONNY IN HOUSTON-
Yeah, not cheap, but I figured that it’d be stupid to spend all that money going to Japan (the flight alone is more than $1,000), only to skimp on actual tickets for the games. Gotta keep the streak alive, and I have no idea what security will be like, so I tried to buy my way into the good seats.
WILL-
Good call. That’s why I posted a complete/un-doctored photo of them. Normally, when I show tickets, I have to crop the photo or blur the barcodes.
STEVE-
Yup, these will be my first games of 2012. I don’t do Spring Training.
DOUBLE T-
They’re playing at the Tokyo Dome.
GEORGE-
Sounds about right.
Mark McConville
ohh okay, ill b sure to give u a scouting report of the new stadium down there
. . HOW COOL zack is the man, wear earplugs it will be loudin the dome there. have a Tsingtao beer amd shinjuku japan is where u need to stay.sayanara.zacksan
JOSEPH-
Oops. Well, there aren’t any bar codes, so whatever. I’m getting inside the Tokyo Dome regardless of any shenanigans that someone might try to pull on StubHub.
JIMMIY-
Yep.
Clifford
Nice, wish I can go. Is this your first visit to Japan?
Sounds like the A’s will be putting Cespedes out on the field in Japan. Pretty sweet!

My programmer is trying to persuade me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on a number of websites for about a year and am worried about switching to another platform. I have heard great things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any kind of help would be greatly appreciated!
Cool! I wish I was going too! Hope to see you soon!
Have a great time. Between this and the new Marlins park, you’ll hit 50 unique stadiums!
Nice! I wish I could go… I have schol and a leadership confrence inn LA… I will watch all the games though… at 3am…. where are you sitting?
Sweett!! whats that start time again? lol

Two things:
First off that is awesome, good luck in Japan.
Second, here’s a hat collection that could rival Ben Weil’s: http://thefitteddiaries.blogspot.com/2012/02/collectors-corner-with-angel-villegas.html
18,000 Yen per ticket? Holy smokes! I have no idea where those seats are but dayum!
@kslo69 ahaha i meant ****school****… wow… stupid autocorrect… yeah i said autocorrect… i type these from my phone… sigh…
Noticed something interesting about the tickets…they don’t have barcodes to be scanned.

Looks awesome!! Will these be your first games of the season? As far as Miami ball snagging, I think this is the logo for the Marlins baseballs: http://fishfry55.mlblogs.com/2012/02/15/possible-marlins-park-commemorative-baseball-logo/
Steve
you are lucky! do they play at the Shiro Dome?
Ok Scrabble Master. What is the longest word that can be made with only the top line of letters on the key board? I’ve got an 8 letter word.
18,000 yen would be about $223 in American dollars.

How many baseballs do you think you are going to get?

The Tokyo Dome is the exact same thing as the Shiro Dome, but the Shiro Dome is the old name i think.

TOWER PROPERTY.
Sick!!! I’m such a ticket junkie. Where did you get these?
MARK MCCONVILLE-
Cool, but I pretty much already know how it’s gonna be for ballhawking: BAD!!!
KSLO69-
Ohhhh, damn! I should’ve thought of that.
QUINN-
I seriously have no idea. Maybe . . . half a dozen balls total in two games? I figure I’ll get a few toss-ups during BP, if nothing else.
DOUBLE T-
Never knew about the Shiro Dome ’til now.
TC-
Your comments always make me smile.
CHRIS H-
I bought them from MLB.com, or from the Mariners’ website, or something. I forget, but other than the cost, there was nothing to it.
if you can repeat letters, typewriter is what I came up with.
fyi, hope no one posts your tickets to stub hub. might want to blur out some numbers. just saying.
wow those are right behind home plate! amazing!
